The Autumn school holidays are just around the bend, starting on Monday 14 right through to Thursday 24, with Friday 25 a public holiday for Anzac Day.
We have some special events happening across the region, including a touring magic show stopping off at two locations on the Mid North Coast, and the much-loved Emma Memma bringing her Island Dance Party to town.
There’s also art and film screening sessions for a bit of creativity and quiet time.

🪄 Magic and Illusion
The touring magic show Spellbound is coming to the Mid North Coast these holidays.
The show stars Apollo Jackson – multi Got Talent finalist, Guinness World Record holder – and is full of illusion and magic, from levitations to impossible vanishes and escapes.
The synopsis describes the show as “pushing the boundaries of reality that distorts your senses.”
Spellbound is coming to Port Macquarie and Taree.
Tickets range in prices: Adults $79.90, under 16s $69.90, members, groups and other discounts available.

🎉 Kids sessions at the Glasshouse, Port Macquarie
These school holidays, the Glasshouse is hosting art sessions and a dance party for the young ones.

🎨 Sprouts Sessions
Local artists are running four 60 minute art classes for kids aged 4 to 9, for just $15 per child. Parents/carers come for free.
🗓️ Thursday 17 in the morning (10am to 11am) and the afternoon (3pm to 4pm)
🗓️ Thursday 24 in the morning (10am to 11am) and the afternoon (3pm to 4pm)
On the 17th kids will create an Easter-inspired wall hanging and on the 24th, the project is to make a sun-catcher.

🪩 Dance Party with Emma Memma
ARIA award-winning children’s entertainer, Emma Memma, is coming to Port Macquarie’s Glasshouse for her new show Dance Island Party.

🎉 Kids screenings at the Jetty Theatre, Coffs Harbour
The Jetty Theatre in Coffs Harbour is putting on three special school holidays screenings all starting at 11am. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for kids.
The screenings are;
🏖️ Magic Beach – on Tuesday 15
🐺 200% Wolf – on Wednesday 16
🐳 Wayne the Whale with a hole in his tail – from Wednesday 23 until Saturday 26.
