Easter school holidays are just around the corner, so if you’re looking for ways to keep the kids entertained here are some ideas that are friendly on the wallet.

Activities across the region include kids bingo, Easter raffles and a disco, tenpin bowling and mini golf for the family, cheap movie tickets and an immersive planetarium theatre.

📍South West Rocks: Bingo, bowling and more

The Country Club at South West Rocks is hosting a variety of budget-friendly events over the school break.

🪐 A 360-degree, immersive planetarium theatre show is coming to the Port Macquarie Observatory on Saturday April 12. The “Starr’s Planetarium” show focuses on Aboriginal sky stories, astronomy and sessions with the new telescope.

📍Nambucca Heads: Cinema

🎞️ Nambucca Heads Cinema Centre has plenty of kids movies showing now and throughout the school holidays, including Snow White and A Minecraft Movie.

💲 Movie tickets are $16 for under 18s and $19 for adults.

📍 Coffs Harbour: Film screenings

🎬 The Jetty Theatre in Coffs Harbour is putting on three special school holidays screenings all starting at 11am on Tuesday April 15, Wednesday April 16 and from Wednesday April 23 to Saturday April 26.

💲 Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for kids.
