Live music events across the Mid North Coast in March

From tour stops to tribute bands: everything you need to know about live music events happening on the Mid North Coast for the month of March.

This month’s line up of events on the Mid North Coast includes duelling pianos, tributes to iconic Australian bands, local artists, and well-known Aussie names on tour.

There are live performances at music venues from Coffs Harbour to Taree, including a backyard-style gig, a beer garden, and sit-down shows.

🎶 Powderfinger & Silverchair tribute band, Coffs

When: Saturday 1st, doors open 8pm

Where: Hoey Moey, Coffs Harbour

Tickets: FREE

This ensemble pays homage to two iconic bands that shaped the Australian alternative rock scene in the 90s – Powderfinger and Silverchair.

Expect to sing along to popular hits from both bands, like “These Days” and “My Happiness” by Powderfinger and “Tomorrow” and “Ana’s Song (Open Fire)” from Silverchair, as well as lesser-known B-sides.

🎶 Hussy Hicks, Taree

When: Saturday 1, at 7.30pm

Where: Manning Entertainment Centre, Taree

Duo Hussy Hicks - Leesa Gentz (vocals) and Julz Parker (guitar) - has released seven albums and played hundreds of festivals in Australia and overseas.

Their music is a rootsy blend incorporating folk, blues, country and rock. Local artist Matt Zarb is supporting Hussy Hicks in Taree.

🎶 Duelling Pianos Show, Coffs Harbour

When: Sunday 2, taking requests from 5pm

Where: Hoey Moey, Coffs Harbour

Tickets: FREE

This Sunday sesh in the beer garden is about duelling pianists Mitch Dormer and Bodhi Acton taking song requests and creating singalongs.

🎶 Majelen, Crescent Head

When: Saturday 8, from 7pm to 10pm

Where: The Station Boardstore, Crescent Head

Majelen and special guest Tessa Devine are making a stop at Crescent Head during their van trip down the East Coast. Once this Australian tour ends Majelen will return overseas.

🎶 Sarah Blasko, Port Macquarie

When: Thursday 13, concert from 7:30pm to 10pm (includes interval)

Where: Glasshouse Theatre, Port Macquarie

Multi ARIA award winner Sarah Blasko is stopping off at the Glasshouse in Port Macquarie during her 2025 regional tour promoting her seventh album I Just Need to Conquer This Mountain.

🎶 James Reyne, Port Macquarie

When: Friday 21, concert 7:30pm to 9:30pm, (includes interval)

Where: Glasshouse theatre, Port Macquarie

As a solo artist, and the leader of Australian Crawl, James Reyne’s music has been a soundtrack to Australian life for decades - think “The Boys Light Up”, “Errol”, “Reckless”, “Hammerhead”, “Fall of Rome”, “Downhearted” and “Beautiful People”.

For this concert Reyne will perform as an acoustic duo with special guest Josh Owen.

🎶 Double headline, Nambucca

When: Saturday 22, doors open at 6.30pm

Where: Nambucca Arts Centre

Tickets: $30 adults, $10 for teens, and free for kids under 13 years old
