Bruno’s

Just off the main strip in Bellingen you’ll find Bruno’s Mediterranean kitchen serving local produce alongside creative cocktails, and a considered wine list.

The menu is made to share, the setting is cozy, and the staff are a standout.

Whether you’re a meat-eater, plant-based, or seafood lover, there’s something for you and yours.

To start: try the white anchovy toast, manchego, green olive.

A main: choose the slow roast lamb ribs, zhoug, sumac onion.

To drink: Grab a Quince Sidecar cocktail made with chamomile cognac, quince, dry curacao, lemon.

To finish: Leave room for the choccy bar, dulce de leche, hazelnut, espresso.

Check out the daily specials board, and if you can’t decide, try the “feed me” menu for approximately $70 per head (minimum four people).

Charlie’s at Church

In the heart of town is Charlie’s at Church - the neighbourhood Italian joint where all pasta is freshly handmade.

The restaurant specialises in sourdough ferment pizzas, while also offering Antipasti options and a 460g dry aged Black Angus beef ribeye.

To start: choose the Byron Bay handmade Burrata with basil leaves basil oil & leaves

For main: try the fresh pasta Mafalde, Dorrigo lamb shoulder, rosemary, pangratatto.

To finish: dive into one of their famous Tiramisus with Allpress espresso and almond crumb.

Keep in mind, every Tuesday is Napoli Night. All pizzas are $25!
