Where to grab a coffee after 3pm in Port Macquarie

Cafe's, burger bars, surf shops and shopping centres: here's where to go for a cuppa Joe.

There are plenty of spots to get your caffeine hit past noon, but not all of them are places you’d think of for a cuppa.

From burger bars to surf shops, and of course cafes, here are the venues serving espresso well into the afternoon.

Brooklyn’s

If you’re heading to Sovereign Hills, or more specifically Sovereign Place Town Centre, be sure to swing by Brooklyn's Burger Bar Espresso where they serve coffee up until 7.30pm, Wednesday through to Sunday.

Brooklyn’s is open 7 days a week, but currently closes at 2:30pm on Monday and Tuesdays.

PeakFace

Also located at Sovereign Place Town Centre is Peakface Lifestyle Cafe serving coffee up until closing time at 4pm.

Specialising in healthy salads and protein smoothies, and located right outside the IGA, it’s the perfect spot for an afternoon grab-and-go.

Brew Lab

From the same owners comes Peak Coffee Brew Lab and Roastery located on Jambali Rd. The warehouse style shop offers coffee until 4pm on weekdays.

As a speciality coffee roastery you can enjoy a coffee tasting flight including espresso, filter and single origin coffee.

This venue is also open on Saturdays until 1pm.

Colab

Peak Coffee again but this time in partnership with Bookface Café. Together the businesses make PeakFace COLAB, where the coffee machine is on until 4pm weekdays.

Located right next to Spotlight and close to a gym the venue specialises in grab-and-go meals, covering all dietaries.

Lilly’s

If you find yourself craving a cuppa in the heart of Port’s CBD, then head to Lilly’s. This cute little cafe serves coffees until about 3:20pm before closing at 4pm.

Lilly’s also has an extremely gram-able menu. Check them out on Horton Street.

Blendz & Beanz

One of Port’s newer venues, Blendz & Beanz on Clarence Street is an easy stop for a coffee (or bubble tea) until 4pm. Pop in off the street to try a hot or cold brew.

They also do baked goods and fresh juices and are open everyday except Tuesdays.

Cinnamon beans

If you’re in need of an energy boost while shopping in Settlement City, we suggest heading to Cinnamon beans. They serve coffee until closing time at 5.30pm and are proud to say they’ll also offer you a cup and a chair, no matter the time.

Saltwater Wine Espresso Bar

Saltwater Wine isn’t just a surf shop, it’s also an espresso bar and cafe, serving drinks until 4pm.

With plenty of tables and chairs, this is the perfect spot to stop, take a load off and people watch.

The coffee corner also serves Acai bowls and other grab-and-go meals.

We will continue to highlight what the Mid North Coast has to offer when it comes to food and drink.

If you have a venue recommendation, know of any cheap eats, where to get a late night coffee, meal deals and more, we’d love to hear from you!
