Where to grab brunch and lunch for $20 or less in Crescent Head

You’re hungry. You have a $20 note in your hand and you’re looking for something filling and flavoursome.
So why not head to any of the four cafes in Crescent Head for a carb-fuelled, cost-saving option.
Point Break Cafe
This cafe not only has the best view in town, its entire menu is priced under 20 bucks.
Starting with two slices of buttered fruit toast for $8, the most expensive item is the salmon burger served sea-side for $17.50 with the rest of the burgers, toasties and rolls between $12 and $15.
Don’t miss the Dutch Pancakes made sweeter with a $10 price tag.
Breakfast and lunch items are served between 6am and 2.30pm, the cafe is located next to the surf life saving club at Crescent Head point/ Killick Creek.
Green Room
Stroll into this corner cafe for a spicy Kimchi roll for $15. You also have the option to add avo or halloumi for an extra fiver.
Or grab the more traditional B+E roll with extras for the same price.
Smoothies can be made into a bowl with granola, fresh fruit, nuts and seeds for $19, or try the Green Room’s take on avo toast for $18.
Here you can also score a kids egg and bacon on toast for just $12.
All food is served from 7am seven days a week.
Blackfish Coffee
Blackfish Coffee has the bulkiest cafe menu in Creso.
Only two items on the double-sided menu are just over $20, meaning the majority of their all-day breakfast, bagels, burgers and wraps are within range and giving change.
It’s also the only place in town to do a combo deal.
Grab the B+E with cheese and a large coffee for $15 or their most popular iconic bagel and small coffee for $18.
Other combo deals include a wrap and large coffee or OJ for $20, a sweet treat and large coffee for $15, and a ham and cheese croissant and coffee for $14.50.
The cafe is located at 4 East Street, Crescent Head and open 6am to 1.30pm seven days a week.
Swell Nourished
Swell Nourished cafe is located within Waves Campground and is open to the public.
A ten-minute drive from town down the backroad / Point Plomer Road, you’ll find the cafe hidden amongst the bush and birds.
While the menu is currently a work in progress with new owners recently taking over, currently on offer are fresh sushi inari pockets.
Snag one for $6 or three for $15.
